BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Directors for the United Way of Odessa serve three-year terms and take on a variety of responsibilities during their tenure with the organization. For more information about serving on the United Way board, contact President Mike Nieto at (432)580-1920.
CAMPAIGN TEAM: As mentioned on the CAMPAIGN page, the annual campaign is vital to our success in the community. Campaign volunteers who serve as Division Chairs, Loaned Executives or Employee Campaign Coordinators make all the difference in getting the job done right. Making an employee available to the United Way as a campaign volunteer is one of the greatest ways to show your support for community solutions. For more information about our 2007 campaign, contact Jason Samp at (432) 332-0941.
COMMUNITY INVESTMENT: On the flip side of the Campaign Team, Community Investment volunteers make critical decisions about the distribution of funds each year. As the United Way implements the new outcomes-based funding model, Community Investment volunteers are more important than ever. We encourage all companies with workplace campaigns to have a representative on our Community Investment Team. Contact Community Investment Chair, Gail Dickinson, at (432) 563-5239.
COMMUNITY NEEDS: United Way is focused on finding solutions to pressing community needs not currently being addressed by one of funded programs or local community agencies. Interested? Contact Dwayne Bennett uwodirector@uwodessa.org or call (432) 332-0941.
COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE: Do you have a background in advertising, marketing, communication, or another related field? If so, then get in touch with us. We are always looking for volunteers to help us get our message out, plan special events, and take on a variety of special projects.  If this sounds like something you might be interested in contact the Communications Chair, Christie Callicoatte, at (432) 368-5483.
FINANCE COMMITTEE: This group of volunteers is accountable for all funds received, and maintains a high standard of financial management. If you are interested in being part of this committee contact Corrie Gideon at finance@uwodessa.org or call (432) 332-0941.
Born Learning ®: A United Way public service the helps parents and caregivers explore ways to turn everyday moments into fun learning opportunities. If you would like more information on this program, please contact Brandi Alexander at crdirector@uwodessa.org or call (432) 332-0941.
