Annually, there are nearly 15,000 individuals in Odessa demonstrating commitment by contributing to our campaign. A planned gift to our endowment allows you to make your annual gift permanent!
Our endowment fund is a very important component of the organization, assuring strength and sustenance of this organization. Likewise, the principal of all endowment gifts are invested and only the income can be used. These revenues generated by the endowment increases our capacity to respond to community changes, including unforeseen emergency situations.
How do I go about it? There are many methods for making a planned gift to our endowment fund. The easiest method includes cash payments, inclusion in a will or the purchase of a life insurance policy designated to the endowment. More complex trust arrangements can be established based on the needs of the donor.
Legal experts recommend that estate plans and documents be reviewed every 3 to 5 years. Please take a moment to review your current estate plans and consider including the United Way of Odessa.
