2009 Day of Caring a Success

The United Way of Odessa, with the help of over 65 local volunteers, completed seven projects during its Day of Caring.
The projects included painting, organizing a warehouse, building a wheel chair ramp and completing a concrete slab. The Day of Caring was an opportunity for local volunteers and United Way of Odessa staff to help local charities and entities. Projects were conducted for Boys & Girls Club, The Crisis Center, Catholic Charities, Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest, Meals on Wheels, Odessa College, and Odessa Day Nursery.
Thank you to all the individual volunteers and companies that donated time and money to the Day of Caring.
