Workplace Campaign |
|
“I GAVE AT THE OFFICE.”
Give your staff the chance to say
it and mean it. With a little planning and
initiative, your employees can have the
opportunity to make THE difference for those in
need across
Odessa. It’s as easy as setting a date,
gathering your troops and giving us 20 minutes
to ask for their support. |
| |
|
Some companies utilize United Way campaigns as a
morale booster and a chance to promote team
building. You’d be amazed how much fun your
staff can have by doing something positive for
those in need |
| |
|
THIS CAN BE FUN? |
|
You bet! Need ideas on how to beef up your
company’s participation during campaign? Have
no fear! Employee Campaign Coordinator Training
is just the ticket. Once you designate an
employee to head up the United Way effort within
your company, we can provide consultation,
training and fun ways to make the campaign a hit
- for you and for the community |

Loaned Executive & Campaign Associate Program |
|
Each year, we depend on companies to allow one
or two of their employees to volunteer with
United Way. Our Loaned Executives are the
backbone of our campaign. They work between 8
and 12 hours a week calling and meeting with
workplace coordinators to plan their company's
campaign. Our Loaned Executives learn leadership
and public speaking techniques, as well as
network with other civic minded community
leaders. Our campaign associates are individuals
that work with us full time for the duration of
the campaign. This allows staff to spend more
time strengthening relationships with our donors
and build new relationships. If you would like
to help sponsor a campaign associate or allow on
of your employees to participate in our Loaned
Executive program, please contact Jason Samp by
email at
campaign@uwodessa.org, or by phone at (432)
332-0941. |

New Hire Program |
|
We know that people change jobs all the time,
but the United Way campaign happens only in the
fall of each year. That’s what makes the New
Hires program so important. By presenting the
United Way to each new employee, you afford them
the opportunity to give back to the community
AND reduce campaign losses due to turnover. Our
staff will be happy to help implement or
complement your New Hires program. |
