It is my honor and pleasure to serve as the United Way of Odessa’s campaign chairman during the 2009-2010 fundraising campaign.

As you are aware, due to increasingly more societal challenges, many families in our community are encountering increased difficulties, while trying to make ends meet. As a result, many of the basic things that we often take for granted, many are going without!

Accordingly, as a leader of this community, I am encouraging each of us to do our part, by showing your support in contributions to the United Way, during this year’s campaign.

Systematically, the United Way of Odessa is able to assess our most pressing community needs, forge collaborations, augment resources and utilize a variety of perspectives to address and resolve some of our community’s toughest health and human service issues.

No gift is too small! Together and continually remaining UNITED, I am confident that our efforts to provide hope and opportunities for a brighter future will be unconditionally realized.
